Annette Januzzi Wick was born in northern Ohio and now lives in Cincinnati with her son, and her newly blended family. Excerpts from I'll Be in the Car were awarded Honorable Mention in the 73rd Annual Writer's Digest Competition. I'll Be in the Car was awarded USA Book Finalist, Best Books 2006 Autobiography/Memoir. Through Women Wriing for a Change, she has completed the Feminist Leadership Academny and is a certified facilitator for WWfaC, and currently serves as Executive Producer and Editor of WWfaC - The Podcast Edition.

Annette currently faciliates a writing circle at the Alois Alzheimer Center in Winton Woods. She has produced writing workshops from Blended to Bonus (Families), Mother's Day workshops and writing circles for Girl Scouts.

The National Leukemia and Lymphoma Society selected I'll Be in the Car for distribution to its 60plus chapters in the U.S. and Canada and posted it as a selected read on its website www.lls.org. She has been a contributor to Cancer Family Care newsletters, as well as the magazine Living with Loss. She appears regularly as a guest speaker on the topics of cancer care, grief and creative writing.

Annette is an enthusiastic supporter of Women Writing for (a) Change, a creative feminist writing center that encourages the use of writing in community as an "important creative, spiritual and therapeutic practice." (Mary Pierce Brosmer).
